The Neuk was designed and built in Ladysmith Street by the owners Ian & Donna Macgregor with some help from friends, family, and local tradesmen. It has been lavished with lots of love and finished to a very high standard.
Ladysmith Street itself is a quiet residential strip a block back from West Shore Street; the noise of the harbour pubs in summer doesn’t reach back this far. The Neuk is owner-operated and the small-house feel of the listing (no chain branding, no scaled accommodation block) is the point, for travellers who want a quiet base with the village on the doorstep rather than a hotel on the seafront.
